I think the phenonmenon you explained ( I have not seen the pictures yet ) could possibnly mean intra follicular hemorrhage and this can lead to formation of a hemorrhagic cyst whish will also resolve with time. Alternatively if the size of the follicle decreased and the margins were little irregular - maybe you had a ruptured follicle which may go on to form the corpus luteal cyst.
