3D Multiplanar EndometriumFrom: Jenny Anttila (jennymc@seanet.com)Fri Jan 17 15:53:48 2003
I have a question about the procedure called ablation using the resectoscope. Can you remove fibroids and or a polyp and then immediately have an ablation ? My Dr. is saying that a D & C then a removal of the foibroid/or polyp... send that to the lab for analysis to see if it is cancerous. Then schedule a further surgery ( if all is Ok ) for an ablation? That means 2 surgeries. My friend had removal of 3 fiboids and then ablation, resulting in 1 surgery. Could you provide information , and advise what the difference is between a fibroid and a polyp please. Thanks Jenny
