Abdominal calcificationsFrom: Crystal Jonker (cjonker@netidea.com)Wed Nov 13 13:20:45 2002
I am 27 weeks pregnant and a routine ultrasound scan at 19 weeks, found a 5mm calcification in the large lobe of my babys liver. Now another scan shows that the calcification has grown with the baby. The info on this subject is limited and the perinatologist at BC Womens hospital is unsure what the outcome will be when the calcium deposit is limited to the liver. Can anyone shed some light on this subject for a worried mother?
