Yes it is possible. Although HCG rises on average by x2 every 48 hours there are variations in this and in the method of measuring HCG. Although one would suspect that your risk of miscarriage is increased, no one has really studied this although there are some projects on going at the moment.

I performed a study that I never published due to bad results.I thought that HCG rises such as those you describe might predict miscarriage. However, they do not predict miscarriage very accurately.
