Nancy I will tell you that things do not look real good at this point. We all want to see a rise in the hcg in a 48 h period, and yours did not. I would probably counsel my patient to have another one rechecked before i did anything final. You did not say if you have any living children, but I would urge you to discuss the option of chromosomal analysis of the pregnancy if you have indeed lost this pregnancy. You may also want to discuss the option of checking other studies such as anti-phospholipids. Best of luck to you.
