Fwd: Subject: Hormone produced by women after birth which aids in weight loss and post-natal recoveryFrom: Mary (anonymous@obgyn.net)Sun, 20 Sep 1998 13:12:01 -0500 (CDT)
To: <anonymous@obgyn.net> Subject: Hormone produced by women after birth which aids in weight loss and post-natal recovery From:"lisawickert" <lisawickert@email.msn.com> I am a personal trainer specializing in obese and post-natal women. During a class at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston last year, the speaker mentioned a hormone which assisted post natal women in shedding the weight they gained during pregnancy, and said it was particularly high during the six months following birth. Do you know of any such hormone, or where can I go to learn about how the woman's endocrine system adapts or assists in weight loss and recovery after birth?
