Hi Rachel,

After 5 pregnancies, I learned that when you are pregnant and your body tells you something...it's pretty wise to listen. Especially if the need is for sleep. Sleeping certainly won't harm you or the baby. Think of all the work your body is doing to grow a baby from two tiny cells into a complete little person in 9 short months! Besides, after baby arrives, you won't be getting much sleep until he/she is old enough to get up, pour a bowl of cereal and watch cartoons while mom sleeps in on Saturday morning!

Enjoy the remainder of your pregnancy and keep us posted as to your progress. We look forward to hearing your birth story in a couple of months!

Thanks for psoting to the Pregnancy & Birth forum!

Sincerely, Mary

Mommy of 6month old Katherine - who still gets up every two hours at night for the "Momma Buffet"!
