21st week ultrasound--kidneys?

I am in my 21st week of pregnancy and just had a ultrasound. Most of my baby's organs were visible except for the kidneys. However, the doctor doing to the ultrasound noted that baby's bladder was full and said that this should indicate a normal functioning of the kidneys. Should I be worried or is it still normal not to be able to see the kidneys at this point? Is the fact that the bladder looked full a true indication that the kidney are there and working?
