Hi, Jennifer,

Here is the way I handled the weight question: I only allowed myself to use the balance at the gym! That way, I made sure that every time I weighed myself I also exercised. This strategy may not work for you if you have health issues (spotting, history of miscarriage, high blood pressure, and other stuff), so check with your doctor if exercise is OK for you.

It does not have to be hard exercise - walk a mile on a treadmill, swim a few laps if you like, do some weight-lifting with your arms to build up strength for holding the baby and breastfeeding... you get the idea.
