By my calculation, even if we went with last menstrual period, you would be just over 7 weeks. However, your cycle is 30-33 days, so if you assume a 33 day cycle the month you conceived, that would put you closer to 6 weeks, and there is a margin of error up to like 4 or 5 days even on the early ultrasounds. Did the doctor think the heartbeat was a good rate? I don't remember how early they can see a heartbeat, but I would think it would have to be closer to six weeks to see one. I wouldn't lose hope, I had a similar experience with small measure, and it was fine, and they didn't even see a heartbeat until 7 weeks. Best wishes.
