I am asking this question on behalf of a teenage girl that I have recently befriended. No attacks please because I only want an answer not 'moral advice'. So the morning after pill.. Is it good for ONLY the morning after? Or, is there a certain time frame that it is useful for? I know that the pill makes you bleed and cramp and could make one expel whatever. So can it work almost a week later? For instance, young girl had sex 6 days ago. We have gone over her last 3 months worth of cycles {LMP} and we have figured out that this would have been within her normal ovulation time. So she probably ovulated sometime this weekend. Would a morning after pill work if she took one tomorrow or is it only good if she had taken it the day after sex? I only want her to have the least intrusive event as possible. I think a morning after pill would be more 'friendly' than an abortion. Please to any doctors and thank you
