Hi, I am not an esthetician, but the woman that I go to for facials etc. is currently pregnant. Since I am also pregnant, she and I have discussed this issue a bit. As soon as she found out that she was pregnant, she stopped using certain products and equipment. She now only uses blends of essential oils instead of pure, concentrated forms. She no longer uses the machine (I call it the zapper) that causes small electric pulses under your skin to kill bacteria. I know that all of her clients have been very supportive about the changes that she made to protect her baby. I hope that this helps a little. By the way, she is 7 months pregnant and doing great.
