Dear Jennifer,

You are probably starting to lose your mucous plug, which is a good thing. Sometimes mucous plug can be a little runny, as yours appears to be. I would put a menstrual pad on since the rest of the plug is likely to emerge sometime today. I probably would not call the doctor yet, but there is no harm in letting them know that your body may be gearing up for the big event.
