I have just had a d&c following a miscarriage. I had hcg levels taken 2 days apart in the first few weeksof pregnancy, they were 3000, 4000 and 6000 (approx)i.e they did not double.

I had 3 scans 2 weeks apart,the first showed a faint heartbeat, then a definite one, the last scan showed no heartbeat.

Do you think this is a hormonal reason, my periods have always been irregular, sometimes 35-40 days apart.

Do you think I have any chance of having a successfull pregnancy
