Re: Life After a C-sectionFrom: Angela-concerned (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 14 Sep 2000 18:50:04 -0500 (CDT)
I too have a section story. I had my son by c-section just over 2 yrs ago and am pregnant with another baby now (32 wks pregnant). I healed relatively fast and am totally ok now. I was upset by the fact i had to have a c - but after 14.5 hrs of being induced, and the baby not dropping and being only 1-2 dialated...I trust that the doc did what was necessary. The only thing that i suffer with now is the fact that i have to have another section with this one...doc already told me she would just book one. The thing we sectioners have to remember is that the most important thing - a healthy child - came out of it. my milk didnt come in right away, and of course that is a concern to me this time - especially since i wont even have labour if the doc has it her way. but after a couple days of pumping at the hospital and nursing with supplemental cup feedings my milk came in in abundance... you should talk to someone about that pain though - after this long you should feel better i would think. i guess what i have to say is, dont worry about having another - as i am sure you have read - people can go vagnially after a section and i will be doing it after 2 yrs - which isnt too far apart... good luck and big hugs to you and your family
