HI, I am happy to see such support on this board for these problems. My periods are irregular and I am on Clomid as per my Endo. almost for last 5-6 months with corresponding Ultra-sounds and blod tests etc. First time I missed ovolution. Second time I had incemenation done but prostegon level was not good. Next month, my clomid dosage was increased to 100mg. Ovulation happened, I had incemenation, my prostegen level was very very good but did not get preg. I was continued with same dose of clomid. Last two times my ovulation is not happening. My Dr did ultra-sounds on 14th day and blood test on 21st day. My prostegen level is good but eggs do not mature to acceptable levels. I didnot have any incemenations last two times. Now, this month, my Dr. says I have PCOS and I should go thru' laproscopy. I do not understand relation of PCOS and laproscopy. Should I ask Dr. to postpone laproscopy and put me on Gluco. at least for couple of months. If I ovulute and incemenation does not work for another couple of months, only then go for laproscopy? I am puzzeled on why Dr is insisting on laproscopy. Anybody has any suggestions? -- RB
