Hi Blabs-

Alpha-lipoic acid has worked wonders for me. I started taking it in July of 2000. At the time I weighed 222 lbs and was taking 1500mg of metformin daily.

I am now down to 178 lbs. and take only 1000mg a day of metformin. I am taking 250mg of ALA. Dr Challem's book is very good. I don't know if ALA will work for everyone, but it worked great for me. I recommend if anyone wants to try ALA, read the book first.

Good luck!

Genny
