To protect your fertility, pancreas, reproductive system and circulatory system. All of which are negatively affected by PCOS that's left untreated. Of course there are the physical problems as well, the hair, hair loss, weight gain, acne, you name it, but I assume you are not talking about that. Many dangerous and actually life threatening medical conditions can come about if you don't control the PCOS.
