Help!!! What BCP is best for women with PCOS????????????

I have been taking ortho tri cyclen off and on for the last three years. I have PCOS and I do not have periods unless I am on the pill. I find that when I take it I have off and on pain in my abdomen, usually just on one side or the other (ovary pain?). I do use the BCP's for birth control not just for PCOS. Could anyone suggest any other BCP's to try? I am not on metformin or glucophage, my fasting glucose was fine so my doctor only recommended ortho tricyclen and aldactone (sprionalactone).

Also, I am located in Nova Scotia, Canada, if anyone knows of a doctor or endocrinologist who has experience with PCOS could they please e-mail me, my doctor is a younger female and is very open to suggestions, but has no experience with PCOS.
