Tabitha, try to smile! It is wonderful that you were diagnosed at 17! Now you can educate yourself and your physicians and take care of your health for the rest of your days.

You are no less a human or a woman for having been diagnosed with PCOS. It is actually more common than people realize.

Don't give up on having kids! I'm twice your age (ack!) and I haven't given up.
