Re: About Aunt Flow (kinda horrible)From: Sunbeam (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 1 Jun 2001 22:46:51 -0500 (CDT)
I also have to use pads, it just isnt a choice for me now, I bleed profusely for 3 out of every four weeks every month and go through 40-60 pads a day on average. Tampons just do not cut it with this kind of flow. I regularly have lots of clots in my menses from slightly bigger than a 50 cent coin (aussie coin BTW) to the size of an elongated steering-wheel off a car (Well that's how my doc. described the last one that popped out at her office when I went in complaining of labour-like cramping. My 2 cents - If I wear a tampon it soaks through almost immediatley and it seems to block the clots inside me from coming out and when I withdraw the tampon, usually the clot is attached to the end of it and it hurts like hell... Just wondering, does anyone else have this particular problem, like me? Thanks for for thoughts in advance Jackie (PVT Email always welcome at: jnorris@iprimus.com.au )
