Re: About Aunt Flow ( kinda Horrible)From: AdoptASAP (anonymous@obgyn.net)Fri, 1 Jun 2001 06:49:01 -0500 (CDT)
No matter what I tell you next, or any one else, YOU NEED to tell your doctor so its at least on record and (s)he may want to see you. When I didnt get my mensies for a year, I took provera to give it to me. I bled heavy for about 18 days. Then I bled lightly, pinkish red, for another 9 days. The first 10 days or so were extremely clotting. I thought maybe I miscarried or something and the drug did this it was so bad. I was never pregnant but was shedding a very thick wall of my lining. I had an exam to tell me this. She said it was normal - concidering. HOWEVER, I was instructed to call every 2 days to let them put on record what was going on with me. If it warrented a visit, they would ahve me come in. But it was normal. Again, I can not stress enough that you need to call your doctor.
