Thanks for all the great comments and advice :) I especially like the one about pointing out one of his flaws in that way. (He's got bad breath...one of the reasons I wouldn't go out with him...I couldn't imagine kissing him!!!) My mind generally doesn't work like that, but I think it's perfect for this case. I'll just tell him that I was talking to this guy and he was interesting and then he leaned in close to talk to me and I had to leave the room, his breath was so bad. Then I'll casually say, "Hey, you want an Altoid?" I also liked the idea that he's a man so he's just not clever enough to "tell" me something in that roundabout way! A
