Re: Ovulation day of temp spike?From: jodi (anonymous@obgyn.net)Thu, 31 May 2001 09:00:36 -0500 (CDT)
How do you know you are not ovulating, if you had temp spikes and OPK results? Sonograms? Blood levels? I find this very curious! I don't take temps, but I plan to, if I ever reach a conclusion to go off BCPs! Yesterday I made up my mind to do it... today I am not so sure... it's my last pill day today so I figure I have one more week to make up my mind already... heh. I always assumed I ovulated because I would get the sore boobs (esp. nipples) and other such signs 2 weeks before my period... sometimes I would even have that middleschmurtz pain... never paid too close attention to cervical mucous but often had what I describe as "squirty days" around that time, times when I would feel an "Oh-oh" leaky feeling, and run to the loo expecting to find ol' Aunt Flow... But, I have never taken temps, or taken an OPK, or anything like that. I always assumed, though, that if you charted, and had the spike, you were ovulating. Weird! - jodi
