Hi Mandy, just thought I'd say Hi, and sorry if you didn't get any response about a doctor in your area - it was worth a shot though! I'm up in Leeds, which is probably a bit out of your area! The consultant I saw was Adam Balan, at Leeds Genereal Infimary - he prescribes Metformin for PCOSers to trigger ovulation and hence lead to pregnancy - but I think that's about as far as he goes with it i.e. he doesn't reccomend staying on it once pregnant. He seems to be quite well respected though - his work is even referenced in Samuel Thatcher's book - so maybe you could show your Doctor reports of some of his work, or something like that?
