Hi Mikki, OUCH! >:( Sorry you had such a bad experience with this one. I'm still using my Schick Silk Effects + Razor (2 blades with an aloe strip) and haven't really had a problem yet. However, when I have to change the blade--the first use always gets me in a few places--I'm guessing this is normal though. I haven't had ONE razor NOT nick me on the first use. I know you're out $10 (WOW!) from that Venus one, but maybe you can try this one? It comes with 2 (or 3) razor heads on it, and it's only about $5. Of course, you can get just the regular "Silk Effect" model (without the "+") which doesn't have the aloe strip--I'm sure it's cheaper. See if you like this one. I like the comfy handle and shape of it.
