Re: Chromium... Anyone with success? I went to the dr. NOFrom: Char (anonymous@obgyn.net)Wed, 2 May 2001 18:25:49 -0500 (CDT)
The Sugar Busters way of eating combined with 400-600 mcg. of chromium picolinate with each meal has lowered my insulin level and stabalized my blood sugar. I also began to lose weight slowly and naturally. Try it for a month and see what happens. Whether or not you take Metformin should have nothing to do with whether you have ovaries or not, but instead, your insulin and glucose levels. My glucose level dropped from 120 to 80 and insulin dropped from 8 to 2, so doctor said that the diet and chromium seems like it's doing the job and does not suggest Met for me. Sounds like it's time for a new endocrinologist for you, some new blood tests, and do some experimenting.
