I just got finished reading a book on PCOS (Living with PCOS). The authors say that a hysterectomy will not get rid of PCOS and that if the dr recommends it, then they are not knowledgeable about it. Maybe you will have better luck with another dr. Tomorrow I am seeing my OB/GYN to convince her to put me on metformin. I hope I have some luck.
