Erica, I have taken Provera and had horrible side effects. Headaches, moodswings, and really bad cramping. When I finally did get my period, it was extremely heavy and made me dizzy and light headed from losing so much blood. I don't think I'll take it again. However, I could have had these bad side effects because that was the first period I have had in almost 2 years. Hope this helps.
