hello, Today I was diagnosed with PCO which I had never heard of before so immediately went home and started searching on the net and found this site. I am trying to get my head around it and understand what is going on. My symptoms are as follows: ******* I was very slim until I hit 14. I had just changed drugs due to having a brain tumour. 16 I had brain surgery. I don't have regular periods -- and in fact went without one for nearly 3 years. When I do get them they can be just spotting... or even a huge deluge for an entire month. no gyno probs. Ever since my weight problem has just been escalating for no reason. I DO NOT overeat. I CAN NOT eat fatty foods due to my gastro tract being shot to pieces from all the throwing up from drugs at 16 etc. I was then diagnosed 2 years ago with IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome). Following this I had my gallbladder removed last year. The best way I can explain how I feel about my body is the following analogy (which my endocrinologist supports):
