In 6 years I have also managed to gain 6 stone(84 pounds)in weight. During the last year I have undergone a laporoscopy and regular blood tests which have confirmed PCOS. I have been told that I am ovulating occasionally. What my specialist does not seem to grasp, is that I am more concerned about my weight gain and the long term health effects. I have tried dieting, Weight Watchers & Slimming World and I don't seem to be getting anywhere. Unfortunately, my job is very sedentary with long hours and I find it difficult to find the time or energy to exercise. This is my first visit to the website, and from what I have read so far a high protein low carb diet seems to work. I am a carbohydrate, sugar addict, and I do tend to get exasperated and COMFORT EAT on occasions !! I would be very grateful for any diet plans or advice from fellow PCOS sufferers. Thanks for listening
