How deep was the cone? That may have some bearing on the situation. She may have internal scarring, adhesions, etc which may benefit from hysteroscopic approach, followed by estrogen treatment (much as we do with Asherman's syndrome). I would evaluate the cervical canal closely, with HSG and/or hysteroscopy, then proceed to treat based on the findings (if any). BTW, this is another example that cones have a potential for significant harm, and perhaps it is best to leave the "lesser" lesions alone (if subject to close colposcopic scrutiny).
