Most of the studies are being done in Germany. I think they may be working on it at one site in England, and I also think one in Italy. I attended a full day session on it at the Montreal FIGO meeting. The Jan 99 AJOG 1999; 180:73-81 has an article on it. It is from Germany R. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
