Anyone have some advice??

23 y/o woman, G7, p4, with EDC of 3/4/99 who has a profuse vag d/c at times. There is so much clear fluid that it will run down her legs. Doesn't smell like urine. Husband has seen it. No sex for several months, because he doesn't like it when she is big like this.... nothing else in vagina. no itching or irritation. No odor at all. CT and GC neg. No clue cells. Sterile spec exam 2 wks ago - nitrazine neg, fern neg, vagina dry as a bone. Same thing today. Cx long and closed. Baby really low.

I didn't ask about masterbation, so maybe could be secretions from that but I doubt this much fluid from mere self stimulation.

I am stumped, but told her I would ask the collective minds of the list. For now, I am saying pelvic rest, watch for fever, call me at any time.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
