hi!

it seems this well-worn thread is once again degenerating into the usual tiresome debate over who gets to do what to whom where. ok, so there is no easy solution to this one. what do you expect? in other countries, midwifery and obstetrics are integrated into the the mainstream health system. here, they have evolved or devolved into a semi-adversarial relationship. perhaps we as well as our patients would all be better served if those politically- oriented folks would work to resolve this situation. until then - ENUFF ALREADY!!!!

ok?

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
