Roberta, et al; if I may play Devil's Advocate, Chat Rooms on the Internet do excite me. This came up on the OB-GYN.L before OBGYN.net got started. The problem I have with them is you have to be at your computer at a particular time. The beauty of E-mail based discussions is I can access the messages according to MY schedule. If I have trouble sleeping, I can get up and check my mail, or if I have class or any other obligation I can work around it. While Chat Rooms seem neat at first, I would just as soon place a conference call. I don’t mean to douse anyone’s enthusiasm, but I’ll take a wait and watch stance until I hear of some real benefit to me. Thanks, for your great efforts. The OBGYN.net is one of the best http://wwweb sites in the entire World!

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
