For instance the nation who comes last in our annual five nations rugby tournament ( England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland & France ). In the foregoing bit of Cochranes criticism he talks about which specialities he thought did babdly at EBM ( he was writing ~20yrs ago and before it was called EBM ! ). He reckoned surgery, psychiatry and cardiology were pretty bad but ( then ) obstetrics came bottom. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
