I learned a lot from it, however I do not worship at its altar. I am not a fanatic about evidence based care. Why? Because it is what is best for the majority. There are always exceptions to the rule which has been proven by EBP (evidence based practice). Nothing works 100% of the time and sometimes things that work less often, may be best f9or this individual patient. Were this not true we could let our computers go to clinic and we could stain our offices and spend all day on this list talking to each other about it. While we are on that issue would you like to comment about the diference in a study which has a p value (read "pee value") of 0.05 vs one with a p value of 0.06. The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
