To all subscribers: I disagree with Phillip's suggestion of limiting this discussion group to only physicians. I find the group refreshing, entertaining (the jokes and other humor), and also stimulating. Being a new Women's Health Nurse Practitioner and not practicing yet because I do not have a job as such, I enjoy reading in on these discussions. I find all the members have been approachable, friendly, and supportive. It is also comforting as I become aware that the physicians are caring human beings and not possesive of mystic powers. Let us not build walls! Instead, collaborate and learn from each other. Remember the message in the movie: "Independence Day" ?

Sincerely, Tara L. Caldwell, RNC

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
