Breakthrough on LupronFrom: tcab1@idt.netFri Jun 27 16:39:55 1997
I have a patient with relatively severe endometriosis who after 6 months on Depot Lupron 3.75 is still occasionally bleeding, at which time she of course is in considerable pain. She also denies any menopausal type symptoms. I have not encountered this problem with Lupron before. This woman is not at all overweight and gets the injections at my office, and to this point has not received any add back therapy. My inclination is to go to Depot Lupron 7.5, but would be interested in your comments and suggestions. Tim Brown Private Practice Long Island, New York "Life is not breath, but action . . . The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
