Re: Pap smears: frustrating for everyoneFrom: Harrison Sheld (hsheld@anv.net)Mon Sep 30 10:02:08 1996
I offer PAPNET to all patients and have those that decline sign so. Actually most patients go for it. Almost all ob-gyns in Vegas offer it. No insurance pays for it but the patients have no problem paying $30 for it. It is a medicolegal threat not to at least offer it in this area. The lay press has frightened women into this.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
