Ed:

It's a pleasure to see you join the list. I have really enjoyed your well-balanced and informative posts on the newsgroups.

I recently discovered that I was seeing a lot of patients from a particular primary care physician that read "ASCUS" but also noted "drying artifact". I phoned the physician to discuss this with him, and he investigated and discovered that his new nurse would put down the pap slide then come back to it some time later and spray the fixative! Sometimes even the basic stuff can get you.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
