Thanks Gary and Jay, I also quote 1/200 for the miscarriage rate post amnio. What I was getting at was why does the misscarriage occur? If asked I say something like the uterine muscle wall is more reactive in some women than in others and spasms may proceed to contractions etc. What do you reply? Allen.
