I had a very similar patient in whom I injected a mix of aristacort and lidocaine, both locally(superficial and deep) and into the area of the pudendal nerve. It took a couple of injections a couple of weeks apart, but she's done qite well for the last year. I can't remember if I saw something about this in the literature or if I just winged it.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit.
