lecture by john hobbins at the atlanta ob-gyn society a few years ago felt the rate was probably more like 1/100 even though we were all taught 1/300- 1/500. i think the number of sticks per amnio is also of great importance. hope that helps some jay

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
