re: David Nagey's response to difficult adhesions at c/s."If it ain't broke don't fix it"

David- The problem is it is "broke". Although she did not have difficulty conceiving, the difficulty at c/s dealing with her very dense adhesions made the surgery both difficult and risky for the patient. I certainly wouldn't consider preventative surgery just to pay my rent but my inquiry relates to trying to improve this patient's surgical risk at c/s.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
