Re: A case of vulvar painFrom: Patrick S. Pevoto (pspevoto@mail.utexas.edu)Fri Sep 6 04:46:34 1996
I appreciate everyone's help. Diane Peterson suggests that the problem is due to bartholinitis, and her description is right on. The pain my patient describes is not the usual "vulvodynia" presentation. It begins with arousal of any type, and can last for 2 days, in her case. There is no lesion or evidence of obstruction on exam. I appreciate everyone's help. Patrick

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
