Your best bet for ACLS training is to call the medical education departments of tertiary hospitals in your area. ACLS training is so prevalent now that most large hospitals have courses every month or two for their own employees and should be able to accomodate you (especially if they see a benefit to doing you a favor, i.e. you will be practicing in their catchment area and might refer tertiary cases their way). The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education.
