This a distinguishing feature of bartholinitis. I have many patients with vulvodynia/ vulvar vestibulitis involving primarily the intoitus. The pain described by my paitients with bartholinitis is a deep aching pain with arousal, distinctly different from vestibulitis. Patients sometimes are reluctant to get very specific regarding symptoms, especially as it relates to their sex lives. I hope to get your feed-back. Diane Petersen Minneapolis, MN
