Re: AmenorrheaFrom: DoctorJoe@aol.comWed Sep 4 14:04:12 1996
<<Or perhaps if you follow Joe(THE MAN) and Richard's line of reasoning you may have a "gorked out" 6 month pregnant woman on a ventilator acting as an incubator. The risk from the pills is less than the risk from pregnancy; the only diference is tha we don't prescribe the pregnancy (or do we if we won't prescribe the pills ????)>> Well, as THE MAN, let me say THIS: 1) If the patient gets sick on her own, it's NOT YOUR FAULT. 2) If the patient gets sick because of something you did, IT'S YOUR FAULT. The risk of pills only accrues if you give them to the patient. The risk of pregnancy is NOT your fault for not contracepting (I hate making up verbs) her because she won't follow medical advise (Unless she's YOUR wife, of course, then the pregnancy IS your fault). Joe.... (I won't say it)... P.

The American Medical Association is no longer designating CME hours for AMA Category II CME credit. However, physicians themselves may self designate learning activities as Category II CME credit hours if they feel it is of sufficient educational merit and meets the formal definitions of continuing medical education. OBGYN.net believes these interaction in this forum meets these criteria. For further information see the AMA web site.
